Reading deeply, widely, openly, and critically together is one way of fighting dominant narratives around race, identity, and power. To intentionally curate inclusive home or classroom libraries and reading experiences for youth is to ignite the kind of radical imagination and collective action around racial justice that our world needs.

BOOK PROCRUITMENT & FUNDRAISING
When teachers ask for our help in supporting the creation of more diverse/inclusive classroom libraries, we creatively work together to procure the books their students need.
"Being a part of Reading is Resistance is an action that I am proud of. Being able to create content that empowers the voices of marginalized groups is taking action and interrupting the status quo. "
